DreamMakers Scholarship Program

The DreamMakers scholarship program gives individuals, corporations, and foundations the opportunity to help one or more students in financial need attend the private or independent school of their choice.  With a gift of $5,000, you can sponsor an economically disadvantaged student at one of MISF’s member schools.

As a DreamMakers sponsor, you will have the satisfaction of freeing a family from the financial burdens that create unnecessary stress in the home and affect the student’s ability to learn in the classroom. Because the majority of students in the DreamMakers program are sophomores, sponsors offer parents the security of knowing their child’s education is being partially financed throughout the remainder of their high school career. This allows the whole family to dream about the possibilities awaiting their child once he or she earns a high school diploma.

There is no limit to the dreams a DreamMakers sponsor may be helping a young person fulfill. Additionally, one-hundred percent (100%) of all funds donated go directly to student scholarships.

Some of our Students' Dreams

“My dream is to go to college at Georgia Tech or Princeton. I want to become a chemist or a lawyer.”

“If I had to select a major today, it would be either law or medicine. Both of those would help me to realize and accomplish my dream to be a doctor or a forensic investigator.”

“I would like to attend MIT, Harvard, the Univeristy of Minnesota, or the University of Wisconsin– Madison to pursue my interest in electrical engineering. I would like to further that interest by going to graduate school.”

"I recently took advantage of the opportunity to attend the Development Director's meeting at Austin Pacelli School offered by MISF. I traveled two hours from Sleepy Eye, and it was worth every minute. What a wonderful meeting with an excellent exchange of information that served very worthwhile. I look forward to the next meeting. Keep up the great work! "
